• Physical and chemical characteristics:

Aluminium Phosphide is a greyish-green or green-yellowish solid, it reacts with moisture in air ? water or acids to release phosphine PH 3 , which is toxic and easy to burn and explode. The gas released has a strong typical smell resembling garlic at concentrations below the danger limit.

Low limit of explosive: content of PH 3 1.8% in air

• Toxicity:

Acute oral toxicity: LD 50 (rat) 11.8+/-0.6 mg/kg

Acute respiratory toxicity: LD 50 (CHR-CD rat) 0.44 um/L (inhaled the PH 3 for 4hours).

Maximum allowable concentration(MAC): 0.3 V.P.M.

• Usage:

ALP is a solid fumigant which effectively kills mites, imagos, pupas, larvas and other pests. There is no residual toxic and odor in food and cereal and no influence on the germination percentage of seeds after fumigation with ALP. It's widely used in grain, seeds, crude medicinal herbs, hard nut, tobacco, tea, wheat flour, perfume, Candy, cocoa bean, coffee bean, cotton, feather, hemp, paper and other storages.

• Storage:

ALP is stable in air-tight packing at low temperature and dry atmosphere for 2years under good storage conditions. In fact, provided the original seal of the flask/tin remains intact, the products can be stored for almost indefinite period of time. Put far away from food, feed and water. Not be contacted skin and inhaled into body.
